TotemTango to Artemigrante
Individually active for over 15 years, the artists became a couple behind the scenes in 2016 and then they started a professional career together in 2019, founded on the concept of an encounter/clash between a dancer and an acrobat (Irene and Matteo).
During the past 3 years they have participated, both individually and in pairs, in seminars for clowns, Commedia dell'arte, dance and acrobatics on stilts.
Surrounded by this artistic climate they began to share ideas, energies and rehearsals in order to create a common ground with TotemTango, which perfectly represents the duality of the company. With simple and effective communication, they show their emotions, challenges and passions ... all whilst using timeless coloured bricks, with which each of us has played with least once in our lives.
